Breaking news from the cycling weekly guys over at Eurobike. The UCI are due to scrap a rule which drastically limits bike manufacturers ability to innovate when it comes to producing the slipperiest most aerodynamic bikes possible.
This could open the flood gates for a new wave of awesome looking super cool bikes... Oh and they'll go really fast too!
It's great to see the stuffy old UCI moving with the times and allowing cycling to move forward.
I wonder when they will finally drop the 6.8kg bike weight limit. Surely that's old hat as well now? I could walk into a bike shop tomorrow and buy a perfectly safe sub 6kg bike (if I had a giant wallet).
